Michelle Mosquera is currently a full-time student at Temple University. COVID-19 has been especially difficult for her to be a nursing student a major/profession that is mostly hands-on. It is hard for her to learn how to properly be a nurse virtually the best practice is in person with real patients. She loses valuable learning experiences from practicals and shadowing nurses at the temple hospital because of COVID-19. We can all learn something from what is happening in the world right now and that to treat our essential workers with the respect and admiration that they deserve,
In other news, Michelle has been catching up on school work and has been picking up on old hobbies that she started when she was a kid like drawing and playing the guitar. Also, she is taking this time at home to spend it with family, during the school year she does not get to see her parents very often during the school year because of her schedule and using this time to do so.
Michelle has been commending her fellow nurses on the fantastic job that they have been doing and they all have earned our gratitude. “Thank-you for all you have done in this fight against COVID-19.”
